Porridge w/Breadfruit Flour
A delicious Breadfruit Porridge
- 1/2 cup Breadfruit Flour
- 2 pints Water
- 1/4 tsp Salt
- 2 oz Sweetened condensed milk
- 1 tsp Vanilla Flavoring
- 3 oz Evaporated Milk
- 1/4 tsp Ground Nutmeg
Bring water to a boil and add salt
Mix breadfruit flour and milk thoroughly
Add the breadfruit flour mixture to one cup of cold water and mix into a liquid paste
Add mixture to boiling water, occasionally stirring the pot on a low flame
Cook for about 3 minutes
When the breadfruit is cooked, add other ingredients and sweeten to taste
Cook until it thickens naturally
Serve in small soup bowls with ground nutmeg
